Payment methods currently accepted include: cash, cheque or email money transfer.
I will provide you with a receipt for your massage treatment and/or your orthotics that can be submitted to your insurance company for reimbursement, depending on your coverage. For orthotic submissions, I will also provide you with the additional paperwork necessary describing your biomechanics and the materials and process used to fabricate the orthotics. Insurance companies require prescriptions for orthotics, and sometimes for massage therapy, which I am not able to provide. Please see your family doctor and check with your insurance company to ensure your prescription meets their criteria for reimbursement.
Unfortunately I am not able to offer direct billing to your insurance company for either service.
Cancellations with more than 24 hours notice: No Charge
Cancellations affect my income and ability to provide for my family. But I understand that "life happens" and sometimes you may not be able to give me 24 hours notice.
First cancellation from returning client with less than 24 hours notice: No Charge
Cancellation by new client with less than 24 hours notice: Charged 100% of appointment cost
Second cancelled appointment within 24 hours: Charged 50% of appointment cost
Third (and onwards) cancelled appointment within 24 hours: Charged 100% of appointment cost
All no shows without notice are charged 100% of the appointment
Please note that the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario does not allow us to provide a receipt for a treatment that was not given. The receipt will clearly state that the payment is for a missed appointment and will not be reimbursed by your insurance. Payments for no shows or late cancellations are required prior to booking your next appointment.
